Our First Anniversary Party! (Sept. 2025)

We celebrated one year of the Association of Women in Business Journalism with a party this week! Hosted in midtown Manhattan, we had a really strong turnout of journalists, editors, PRs and media executives.

We shared our progress and achievements over the past year. And our keynote speaker, Katherine (Kyung Bok) Cho, Bloomberg's Americas News Desk Managing Editor, spoke about her career and the future of business journalism.

The AWBJ started as an idea in a book shop cafe in midtown Manhattan a year ago. Seeing so much growth in membership and support since then has been truly rewarding.
