Regular Membership
Regular membership may be granted to any person who does not currently identify as a cisgender man. Said person must either be employed as a journalist covering business, finance, or related fields, or devote a majority of their paid working time to such journalism.
Producers of sponsored content, copywriters and editors, and other non-source facing newsroom personnel are not eligible for this type of membership.
Memberships are available to purchase on both an individual basis and on a group basis (for all eligible staff of entire newsrooms).
Individual
Dues: Pay what you can (recommended donation of $100 per year).
Group
Get your newsroom involved (see "Newsroom" section below).
Supporting Membership
Supporting membership may be granted to individuals who are not journalists but who support the mission of the AWBJ, such as media executives, journalism educators, students, professionals in related fields, and/or journalists who identify as cisgender men.
Producers of sponsored content, copywriters and editors, and other non-source facing newsroom personnel of any gender are eligible for this type of membership.
Memberships are available both for individuals and for entire groups/organizations.
Individual
Dues: $100 per year (pay what you can for students only).
Group
For J Schools and non-media businesses.

Newsrooms
Newsroom sponsorship can include a mixture of memberships for both non-male and male journalists, as well as non-journalist staff. Price points vary by size (in a three tiered system) and level of sponsorship (gold, silver, and bronze). Contact us for pricing.
