General FAQs
For regular voting members: if you can access the shared calendar and are receiving email updates from us for members-only events, you are considered up-to-date on your dues. This is because dues are on a donation basis — even if you forgot to donate, we will continue your membership.
For supporting members: at the end of each year we send out email reminders for people to renew their memberships. By January you should have received a confirmation email that your payment was processed and you are an up-to-date supporting member. If you cannot find this email in your inbox but have your receipt of payment, please reach out to us.

We are incorporated in New York State and host a majority of our events in New York City. We also have a meaningful presence in London.
If we end up getting a big enough concentration of regular members in one city, we will make an effort to procure funds and hold an event.
In the meantime, there are two avenues that we would consider to hosting an event in another city:
1. A small group of regular members wants to hold its own AWBJ-sponsored event, starting a regional chapter.
2. A group or individual wants to sponsor an event and will pay for AWBJ leadership to organize and attend.
